On Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at 6:30 pm, Fondazione ICA Milano welcomes for the first time a stage of the Poetry Day itinerary promoted and organized by the Centre Pompidou in Paris, which involves more than thirty institutions throughout Europe in a shared event dedicated to the most significant and emblematic figures on the contemporary cultural scene. This year the project shines a spotlight on Lithuanian director and poet Jonas Mekas and the ability of poetry to extend its boundaries to the territory of the image. 

The Milan event features the screenings of two feature films made by the artist, Reminiscences of a Journey to Lithuania and WTC Haikus.
